This post describes my experiences of carrying a Glock 30 in a Maxpedition Jumbo S-Type versipack.
Let me start out by saying that so far, all Maxpedition bags that I own are top rate. So yes, I like them. The Jumbo S-Type is a model for your left side , so it slings across your chest and right shoulder. The company also makes right-handed models.

You will notice a certain amount of compartmentization which is nice for organizing your stuff. There is a front pocket, a main pocket, a top pocket, a side pocket, and a water holder. Regarding concealed carry, the rear velcro loop that attaches to your belt is particularly helpful. It keeps your bag secure and in perfect position, even while running.

The rear gun compartment is closed with an easily accessible zipper. You will also notice that I use a side pocket for magazines, and three 10 round magazines fit perfectly.

Inside the gun compartment, you can (and really should) attach the accessory holster (which needs to be ordered separately) to the velcro back in order to hold the gun in place. The holster is adjustable to the gun size and secures the trigger.

All in all, the bag is my preferred carry method for casual days. Drawing from the compartment is not substantially slower than from an IWB holster, and you definitely cannot beat the concealment.
