Has anyone else had a blister from the 36? I got one on my pinkie. From the small gap between the mag and the butt of the gun. Curious if anyone had this issue. Not complaining just wondering. It's now a leather pinky, from shooting often!

Yes! I little blood blister, which I popped later in the day.

Try a Pearce +0 baseplate. Had the same problem but this is a straight 10 second replacement. No more pinches from my 36.

The very first time I shot my G36 it pinched my pinky.

Hasn't done it since.

I have no idea why.

I seem to get pinched on the trigger finger. Can't determine if it is from the bottom of the trigger and the guard or the trigger and the safety.

Anyone else have a similar problem?

Anyone else have a similar problem? I've read this. Someone else said the same thing regarding the trigger finger. Couldn't find it for u. Sorry. I belive they said it was from the safety?? I think I read it in the this club.

Yeah, that was me. I've owned a G23, and I have a 21SF in addition to the 36, but this was my first blister from a Glock. In my case, I'm more inclined to think I need to work on trigger technique rather than fault the firearm.

I agree on changing my trigger technique. Just wondered if anyone else had the experience. I tried a little more finger tip and a little less meat and that seemed to work. May be a bandage fix (no pun intended) but it seems to be working. Can't decide if there is something that could be smoothed on the trigger to aid the problem.

no trigger pinch, some pinky pinch

I seem to get less pinky pinch than I used to. The only thing that has changed for me is my grip. I used to put the kung-fu grip on with the strong hand and thumbs down. Now my grip is more like strong hand less grip, support hand more grip and thumbs up, FWIW

Bought used G36 six weeks ago. Experienced no trigger pinch ever, but felt pinky pinch with standard 6-rd. mag after I read about it here. Autosuggestion? In any event, this happened near the end of a range visit and I was a bit tired, so I compensated by holding higher and paying attention to my grip.

Am very pleased with my G36 thus far.

For me I got the pinky pinch. I adjusted ny grip and the pinch went away. I use the standard mag.

I was back at the range yesterday and put another 100 rnds through my G36. I have two standard mags and two with Pearce +1 ext. My problem with the trigger pinch has gone away with both mags and I have never had a problem with pinky pinch with either.

I think just getting more comfortable with the slimmer frame is the key. Every time I shoot the G36 the better I like it.

I have never got the pinky pinch.

But then, I have had mechanics hands before I owned my G36. (hands of leather). ;)
