After reading the linked article I was toying with the idea of a "Boycott Philly" campaign.
You can be sure if they could make their own gun laws, they would prohibit anyone from CCW'ing.
Guess the police will protect ya. After all, only the police should be allowed to carry handguns (albeit with lots of magazines so there's enough ammo to stop a bad guy.)
This is not intended to be a bashing of the police. Ahhhh, where's Frank Rizzo when you need him?

That would be just one step leading to an outright gun ban in Philly. As their murder rates continued to climb they would then look to the 'lax' gun laws in the rest of the state as the cause of their crime. Much the same way that idiot Mayor Bloomberg blames Virgina.
