My latest 642 problem, help?

I opened the cylinder/crane, and from underneath the bbl, where the extractor rod sits, a spring and piece fell right out. the piece has an indent like th efiring pin, held in by a pin, which i popped out too. but where i pushed out the pin, the hole isnt a straight shot through. on of the holes looks like it still has a pin in it... anyone understand any of this?

Just got it out. I have no idea how this pin would have broken...weird

Sounds like you just need to replace that locking bolt retaining pin.
It's a $2 part.:)
