NYC Purchase Order Now Takes >= 6 Weeks Weeks!

NYC Glocktalkers,


Purchase order authorization form says to allow 6 weeks for processing. Folks working there say it takes 6 weeks - 2 months to receive the authorization.

Anyone have recent experience with getting a purchase order?

:rofl: I don't know if it still holds true but there was a time when the N.Y.S.Legeslature would give the N.Y.P.D. Firearms Div an extra 1,000,000. to expedite these permits. It probably happens today its just that not too many people remember that this money goe's into the policemans pension fund ,I think for a good cause as for widows and orphans.You would think they would be grateful enough to do the right thing.

Process seems to be quicker than stated on the form. More like 3 - 4 weeks.
