Hi Guys...

Just want to get feedback on this unit from the local boys here in manila...

I tried out a demo unit at the Gun Show and it really fits nicely in my hands...

Are there any issues with regards to parts avaialability and service if I would need local support???

Its quite an expensive gun (but hey ... its an HK pistol)

9mm or 40 SW???

I love the glock because I've become familiar with its operation , maintenance, and parts... Accessories are everywhere...

I would appreciate your info guys... Thanks

Hks are definitely well built, reliable and accurate. Parts are scarce and expensive. Springs are definitely very scarce. No issues with HK's but there is one BOG who suffered a kaboom with his HK a few years back.

Where did you see that P2000?
How much is the srp?

It similar in feel to the walther p99, except for the decocker and the trigger system.

Parts are expensive if you need to replace anything.
Accessories too may be sourced from online sources.

I think other guns that could serve its purpose of concealed everyday carry at a lesser cost (CZ P01 for example).

If cost is not an issue, that is indeed a great gun.

Get the HK parts will not be a problem anymore as there's an exclusive distributor already in RP.

The last I checked with them they could even setup your HK for lefties, meaning the mag release, slide release to be for lefties.

Enjoy your future HK and post pics here when you get it. I'm planning for a USP Compact 40, what are you eyeing for?

Good thing Espinelli let me dry fire the p2000 sub-compact. Yung DAO version.

I didn't like the feel at all! Napakahaba at ang bigat ng gatilyo. For such a small gun, madaling makabig at mawala sa asinta. As if the designer is trying to limit it na pang-tutok lang talaga, mga 2-4 yards lang.

Sana DA/SA man lang yung sub-compact. But I don't think this is a problem sa compact P2K version na may rear decock lever tulad nung sa pic mo. I suppose DA/SA naman yun, pareho sa full size na orig USP. ;)

i am a wheelgunner though my very good friend whom i shoot regularly well is a pro-HK user!!

Il try to send him this thread. I believe he became an administrator at HK forum of some sort when he became a believer.

With all due respects to other polymer pistols (Glocks/S&W/Ruger/Steyr/Beretta/XD's, etc) and we have tried shooting it side-by-side with these....... HK digests almost any ammo and is very very accurate and reliable.

I am not an HK user. IF ever I will be into pistols in the future, HK is the way to go.

Try to check out these vids. (he's my HK friend, with me holding the vidcam at armscor last Oct.06)

Hope this helps!

u want feedbacks for that gun.... ask jack bauer  he's been using that gun for 2 seasons already!:animlol:

honestly that gun is great. my friend has one and its really acccurate. ur rite when u said that the grip fits perfectly in ur hand. ergonomics and pointability is nice. the single action is really sweet compared to other DA/SA pistols. i just feel its a bit expensive.

Yup Doc Allen has a ready supply of replacement parts, but c'mon guys, unless you really abuse these things or use crap-lousy ammo, these things have a pretty good lifespan. Keep in mind though that these, much like Glocks, are meant to be service pistols and not competition guns.

I have 2 frnds with bad experience with HK's...

#1 Broken Firing Pin w/ less than 500rnds - Replaced by HK Thailand for free.
#2 Cracked slide, broken internals - Beyond repair. Ordered parts from HK. Sold the gun. (buti na lang may bumili...)

Tried shooting the P2000(9mm DA/SA) before... Its very accurate for its size n barel length. Initial trigger pull (double action) is too heavy. Single action is short n crisp... Overall, (IMHO) It's agreat gun, shoots well but not that sturdy...
