View Full Version : My little brother graduated from Academy tonight
My younger brother (he's 32) graduated from Coral Springs Fire Academy tonight. I'm so proud of him. Their class dedicated their graduation to the 9 firefighters who lost their lives in South Carolina. :patriot:
I'm so thankful for all you who risk your lives daily.
Thank you, guys. :hugs:

All your brothers are belong to us!
 :wavey: ;)
Let him know "Now the real work starts".
It's the greatest profession in the world (I think). Tell him to stay focused, avoid so-called extreme sports for his probationary year. Horror stories abound regarding those that just...couldn't...avoid their extreme hobbies for a year of probation.
Oh yeah, congrats! The tower is no joke!
Well, he's not into extreme hobbies at this point in his life.
He's married with 2 little girls. No time for that. ;)
His wife has been so supportive of his change in professions. The past 6 months he had to continue working while attending the Academy at night and weekends.
Now he's going to be spending 3 months in school for EMS. It's going to be a tough year for them, but I know it will be worth it.
