I am experiencing problems with a Lian Li 50-in-1 card reader. I believe that Windows XP is not using it correctly. Upon a fresh boot up, the card reader is recognized and, as long as I leave whatever cards are installed in it, everything works fine. However, sometimes when I remove a card from the reader, it disappears from my Explorer window and becomes inoperable until I reboot the computer. In addition, when I am attempting to reboot, I get a message that a program "CardReaderLookup" is unresponsive, and I must shut it down manually.
This reader should automatically be recognized and used by Windows, so there are no software/drivers updates available from the manufacturer or, apparently, Microsoft.
Anyone have any ideas?
Fred
