To make a long story short I waited untill the very last min. to get a renew class. Im out and every time I check it says processing. What kind of wait can I expect.

I was really hoping that someone would give you an update on how long it now takes to receive your renewal. I was about to post the same question when I saw yours. I'm about to renew mine again and wanted to know how long it is taking currently.

Me too. Mine expires in September and I started checking online for classes and most tell you to take the renewal class at least 90 days prior to your expiration date. Looks like I may be SOL for a month or so....
I put my application in the mail on 18 May and got the "Application Completed - license issued or certificate active" message on 26 June. I was working out of town but my wife said it came in the mail within a couple of days after I saw that message. About five weeks for me.

Mine was completed in 32 business days, got it back in June.
Seems like my last renewal took about 40-45 days. The website "status" is pretty useless. About all it's good for is verifying that they actually received your paperwork. You'll have the new CHL in your hand before the website changes from "processing". At least I did...
update took 38 business days will never be late again.
I should be able to get mine in early September then. I got my letter from Austin Aug.8

Will do renewal class this Sept for a Dec expiration, just to be sure!
Got mine in today (Aug.30)! And in just 38 days too.
Mailed application on Aug 2, received new license in mail Sept. 8.
