My 2nd (kind of) 1911 with pic

Bought a Taurus PT1911 about 6 months ago as my 1st 1911 and it was great, had me hooked on 1911's immediately. Last couple range trips it was giving me fits, would lock up and not fire until I cycled the safety on and then off. I was a little annoyed but ready to send it in for warranty work.

Went to my dealer and he said he'd give full price credit on the gun towards a new one so I got a S&W 1911 in matte stainless. Very happy with the upgrade and the price ($659 NIB so I paid a $248 diff. OTD)

I'll be trying it out tonight.

WOW! That is a good looking S&W. I kind of wish I got mine in SS. I was in an all black gun faze at the time. It shoots like a dream though. Enjoy your new pistol. :thumbsup:
