Marion County Property Taxes

I saw on the news at lunch that Mitch has frozen the tax rate in Marion county to 2006 rates, which means if you haven't paid your bill only pay what you paid last year. If you have paid it you will receive a lesser bill for the second half or a refund if the amount paid was higher.

Watch channel 8 tonight for the full report, the entire newscast will be on taxes, I think at 5pm.

Boo! People need to feel the pain of the school board spending. Their schools are Taj Mahals, teachers treated like royalty and they sit on the couch and watch NASCAR.
