Looks great!

Be happy its part Toyota. I have an Esprit V8 that's all Lotus and all I can say is that the reliability of that Toyota engine will keep your car running great.

My car is exotic and beautiful, but a real pain in the rear.;)

I can't believe how affordable that car is considering its stellar performance statistics. 0-60 in 3.8 seconds and 0-100 in 9.9... All for about $55,000.00. What a deal.

the number i found was 0-60 in 4.1 quarter mile in 12.8sec @ 100+mph and it cost me close to $70K out the door

The lotus is indeed that fast! It's more about the weight then the power, although it lacks much of the top-end power that, (in the same price class) the zo6's LS7 has.

Edmunds says the lotus does 0-60 in 4.2 seconds, and the quarter in 12.8 @ 105 MPH. Note the low trap speed for a high 12 quarter. The z06 does the same 0-60 in 4.5 (traction issues) and the quarter in 12.2 @ 127 MPH.

IOW: Lotus is great on a very short track, or stoplight to stoplight. Longer coarses show the need for mo' power.

Nice car though - I would have bought somthing different myself (probably aforementioned Z06, but then Im more of a drag racer then a track man) but there is no denying thats its a sick, and very unusual ride.

Nice car. Ive talked to a couple people that had them. They all wish they had stocks in a tire company. Enjoy button willow with that car. Last time i was there i went thru a set of michellens in one weekend, but i was also driving a over weight 4 door sedan there.

That reminds me on what my uncle said about drifting. *in a joking tone* "It sounds like some sort of conspiracy by the tire manufacturers."

I was talking to a guy at Pacific Raceway on my last track day there. He had an Elise on Hoosiers and was saying that, because it was so light, it was the first car he'd owned where he had to toss the tires before they were worn out because they had too many heat cycles on them.
