Try the big grocery stores like SM or Landmark if you're in Manila. They should also be available at any SMB dealer. Man, you made me miss Cerveza Negra. Drank lots of it together with the Pale Pilsen when I went home. I'm old school:supergrin: ; I don't like SM Lite.

kidding aside, di ako masyado sa beer kasi lalong lumalaki tummy ko.
mas maigi pa cheap wine(novelino)nalang or J&B. :)

I agree, Super Dry is excellent.

But, if you are lactating, Cerveza Negra is the best. Anybody here lactating?

For some time already, nagimprove SMC ng formulation ng cervesa negra, nabawasan yung lasang toyo.

Shopwise nga meron.

Or try nyo late sunday night sa East 19, he he.

I just bargain hunt for new intros to the local market.
For example, when Red Gate (a passable table red from Spain) came out,
it was selling at a little over P100 a bottle.
Tried one, then came back the next day and bought two dozen.
Good for a month's worth of meals.

If getting tipsy, rather than having a table drink, is the objective,
there's budget jerez out there. I was depressed when they stopped
importing Pemartin (P200+ lang, 38% alcohol). These days, closest
I can get to its quality is Domecq 1820 at nearly P500.
I was shocked to find Cardenal Mendoza going for P4000 na ngayon,
but I guess it's still worth every peso.

There's a LOT of very bad jerez in the market today.

:)
