Not until they (1) fire Millen, (2) bring back Terry Barr, Yale Larry, Joe Schmidt, Dick Lane, Pat Studstill, and yes, even Alex Karras, among others (for those of you over age 50 who may remember these "real" pros.)

The best thing for the Detroit *****-cats is to move the team elsewhere, and bring a new franchise of unnamed & untried players to replace them. Even raw talent could/should do better than what they have now.

Being a Lions fan for several decades, the Lions will not get better until the ownership changes. The Lions have been on the cusp of having the potential to be great but Ford just screws it up every time.

The Lions won't be competing for any championships unless they join the Catholic High School Girls Football league.

Of course, the first 15 years in that league will be "rebuilding" years, planning for the future. At that point, they might even be competitive. Championships would of course take longer.
