I just made the 1000th post and now the 1001 post in the Paid Membership Section.

Speaking of numbers, the Charter Lifetime Member, is hopefully still available, and I am wondering if we can be the 100th/100 member, even if we are let's say only 91?

Is it possible for some extra cash, lets say 300 total? Can I be the 100th?

Too risky to wait and hope to be that 100th last member.

Hell, if you're willing to pay an extra fiddy then I say you can have it.

I think it would be funnier to see you try and time it though.

Wooo Hooo
"We"??? You must be a group.
You're the only one that cares about a lousy number. The whole thrust is to help GT survive as it it.
You're worried about you member number??? Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

Yes, well we would still be supporting GT. No different than people talking about number 1. We would be supporting even more for extra 50, and if it doesn't matter to anyone here, then we do not mind taking 100 please.

Yes, several people share this id...so we.

there is 1 left. I am waiting to know the answer to my question however. We will be 100 for sure if we get this now, but I want to be sure that we will still be 100 if any check/money order people back out or what not.

Oh the pressure!

I cannot guarantee that anyone will get any particular number and I am not going to try. I know some folks would prefer to have a given number, but it would be way too complicated to assign them that way. Sorry. Eric

no problem. But the last member does indeed get #100 dont they?

Is it the last member that actually buys a membership, or the last member that buys a membership that gets processed? In other words (check clears, etc.).?

The numbers are assigned in the order payment is received. Eric

Sorry, ok the order of payments RECEIVED, determines the numbers. But does received mean actually CLEARED? Say the last person just ordered a CLM as it appears, and all others sending checks/mo get in, is actually the last person whose check/mo CLEARS #100, as opposed to last person ordered CLM (assuming they paid instantly)

I know it is probably a moot point now. Maybe....

Why ...why! I had the last membership of Charter Life seconds away in my paypal, awaiting for last second questions answered...why oh why!!!
