I'm jealous. Love the 325 and the 22. I had a 625-10 for a short period of time. Recoil was painful. How is it from the 325? 22? I'm considering buying the 625-10 back and having it magnaported, although I'm not sure it would make it very "shootable".

The M22 is a dream to shoot...all steel and grip adaptor.
Almost as nice as my 5" M625.
The M325 is awful.
Even put hogues on it.
No good.
Fun to carry, but not to shoot.

?Top pic...what are the inscriptions on the sideplates?
Thanks.
In the top pic:
Three without the crests are early World War I.
Two of the 1917s are Brazilian contract revolvers and have the Brazilian crest on the sideplate. Some people call them "model 1937" due to the date on the crest, but they are still models 1917. The Brazilian contract helped to keep S&W in business during the Great Depression. A lot of the Brazilians came back to the US in the 80's as surplus.

Bottom pic: Couple of 25-2, Models of 1955; Pre-26 Model of 1950 in the center; new Model 22-4; and a 625-3 Model of 1989.

Thanks.
Heard of the Brazilians.

NICE Guns, Chuck!!! BTW, are those "Cokes" on the 1950??? Sure look like 'em....mikey357
Mikey357-
Good eye! Those are "cokes" on the 1950 (pre-26). It is a sweet gun, too!

I won't even bother posting a pic, you already did all the work! I even have the RIMZ moon clips and Tgrip!
I LOVE this handgun. I sold a 625MG in 45colt earlier this summer that I've had for awhile and just didn't warm up too all that much. This I just fell for, Plus it shoots 4x better than the 625MG!
You fellas with the 22-4, What ammunition are you finding that shoots to the sights?
I stopped looking after I tried Federal HST 230+p. I put 4 rounds in one hole then 2 in 10ring @ 25ft. Good enough for me.
Also curious on trying the Blackhills 45AR 255gr SWC. I think it would make a great "woods" load. Almost duplicates the 45colt. Which in a standard loading is great.

My 22-4 is one of the first 100 made and has the "too tall" front sight that was an issue with the first ones. I simply filed it down to where it hit POA with 230gr ball. For a fixed sight firearm I kind of like that option. All it took was about 25rds of ammo, a file and some cold blue and she's dialed in perfectly for my choice of ammo, grip and site picture. That pretty much makes her "MY" gun though another owner could easily have a new FS installed.

I carry mine in a Blade-Tech OWB with the Tech-Loc belt attachment. Great set-up for range or woods.
