I'm thinking about joining the reserves. I live in MI where the CG has a lot of different locations.
I haven't talked to a recruiter yet but I'm wondering what type of flexibility a typical Reserve gets? I'm in college and working as a financial advisor currently. I would be willing to drop the finance gig if I needed to. I'm looking for some help with school and a way to help my country while staying somewhat local.
Do you think this can be accomplished based on the information provided? I would prefer to work out of the station in Detroit. Do they give you a choice as a reserve or do they place you somewhere?
