glock +2 basepad: anybody experienced this?

Has anybody experienced this on an orig glock +2 basepad?
Since I bought the glock 23 last year, this mag looked and worked ok, until i checked it last night and saw this.
It wasnt dropped, heated, or whatever.
No modifications whatsoever. It just turned out this way.

The mag was loaded with 15 rounds (13+2).
The other mag with the +2 basepad looks okay.
Other glock mags with +2 basepads original that came with my Glock 35 look normal too.

Is this a one of a kind thing?

i experience the same thing before.... i think the +2 doesnt work. so i just load 13 +1. i asked final option about it and they said i need to get a different insert for the basepad fot the +2 to work.

On the bottom of the basepad, does it say "+" or "+2"?

My mags (for G19) came with the extended basepads and said "+". I originally thought this was for an additional 2 rounds but I could never get the last round to go in. Then I realized that this is only a "plus one" basepad.

The "plus twos" have the +2 on the bottom.

its marked '+' at the bottom.

i could easily load 2 additional rounds in the 15 round 40sw mag that came with my glock 35, and the basepad seems able to hold.

its also marked '+' at the bottom.

with the mags in the glock 23, the 2 rounds seems to be exerting more pressure on the basepad, causing one to break loose. I just load the glock 23 mag with 14 rounds now.
