what is the general consensus as to the best bore light(s) available for hobbyist today?

aside from the standard white light, are there another bulb colors or filters that are recommended?

Well, since no one answered you yet,I'll give my .02 .

You already have the standard white light, I find the white led on a flexible shaft the best. Second to that, at a gunshow for a quarter I bought a plastic piece that is red and shaped like a candy cane. It has the long end that goes into the barrel at the chamber and the short end gathers light. It works better than I expected and is nice considering the price.

I was looking at a streamlight stylus. my otis kit came with a plastic "candy cane" piece.

wondering if there was something better than the stylus.
