Factory return

I sent a K-9 to Kahr on July 19th for repair and they received it the next day. Does the factory notify me when it leaves the factory?

No.

Sometimes.

Communication is not Kahr's strong suit. I would suggest you e-mail and call them to find out the status. I got "lost in the shuffle" for longer then I care to admit, but once I got to speak to someone, things happened.

My advice to you is to stay on their behinds!

Fedex stopped at my house this morning, exactly 3 weeks after the K-9 was delivered to the factory. I was glad to see the truck.

The only way to eliminate the "surprise return" of your weapon is communication with Kahr. The customer usually has to be the one who initiates it.
