View Full Version : My first HK
I recently purchased my first polymer gun and it was the G19. I am not content at all with the gun at the range. I ordered the 3.5 Ghost Connector to make it feel more like a SA pull like on my Cz75C. But anyway..I had been wanting an HK for the longest time and I finally to the plunge. I laid-away the USPC 9mm. I want to know the difference between it and the P2000. The pros and the cons I guess. I relatively new to HK as I guess you can tell...thanks

My advice would be go to www.hkpro.com and read up/ask questions there. I have a USPc .40 and P2000 9mm. You need to hold both of them and mess with the trigger to see your preference. Both of my triggers smoothed out after some break in. I feel like the USPc trigger was slightly lighter and shorter SA pull. On both guns, the DA sucks. You need to decide if you want a safety or decock function. Variant 3 in the P2000 has a decock option; Variant 1 in the USPc is safety with a decock. The P2000 has a slimmer grip, with exchangeable backstraps. I have medium to large hands and both guns fit perfect with no problems. As for shooting performance, both perform excellent and honestly you can't go wrong with either. I'm typing this real fast so I'm sure I missed something. Hope this helps; ask some more questions if you like.

for me, both glock and HK are good guns. glocks are pretty much accurate as well as HK's. theres no point of comparison except for some few facts like HK's are a little bit more expensive than glocks, and glocks have no external safeties. But, in so far as quality is concerned, i love both. so i have both guns. hehehe.
i hear the p2000 is a good gun though. get the best of both worlds then.
