Thunder Ranch Defense .45 acp Revolver

Has anybody seen the new S&W .45 acp/autorim Thunder Ranch Defense revolver as covered in the Sept08 issue of "Guns" magazine? The article said "By the time you read this the new Thunder Ranch Defensive (TRD) revolver will be in circulation...", but I can't find any indication of that being the case. Perhaps another case of a way in advance promotion just to get the saliva going!

I saw Clint's pre-production sample when I was at Thunder Ranch at the end of June. Clint told me it should be shipping by the end of August. I haven't seen one for sale yet, but August isn't over. It was a nice revolver (I really like the sights). It should also come with a DVD, and I believe they were planning to ship it with a nice holster. We should find out soon.
