Best night/tactical sights for an 870 Police?

I need your recommendation on what to put on my 870 Police. It will be a home defense / tactical shotgun. I would like to be able to mount the front sight perhaps on a picatinny rail and match that with a surefire vertical foregrip on a picatinny forend?

Something that looks good but is also very effective and easy to acquire upon in the dark.

I see no need for night sights on a shotgun that has a Surefire forend on it. If you're already lighting someone up in your house then it's time to pull the trigger. Without the light I like the XS ghost rings.

Knoxx Comp Stock, Surefire 618 FA or FGA forend and you are good to go. My 870P came with XS ghost ring (non tritium) already on it but I probably would not have changed it if it was a plain bead or rifle sight.
