Does anyone have a list of recommended dealers who handle FFL transfer in the Springfield/Fairfax area?

I have used Virginia Arms in Manassas and was very pleased. They charged $20.
I think Gilbert's Small Arms in Lorton is closest to Springfield but have not used them.

You might consider Tom Schwieger. He is in Fairfax Station and I have been using his services for a couple of years. Great service. I think his email is hpcc19@cox.net.

I use Dunn Loring Trading Co. LLC. The guy's name is Wesley Ford and his email is shot.gunner@verizon.net. He's right off of Gallows Rd, easy to get to from many directions.

I've used him three times. He charges $27, is easy to deal with and very professional.

A co-worker just had one transferred at Gilberts in Lorton (Springfield). No fuss, no muss. IIR, he said Gilberts charged him $15, plus the NICS check fee ($2.00).

See the local store sticky for address and telephone #.

+1 for Virginia Arms. Very fast response to e-mails.

I'm a big fan of Virginia Arms -- Bernie and crew are great and I love visiting the store!

I tried to use Gilbert's to do an inbound transfer of a gun a couple of years ago -- they wouldn't do the transfer for me because it was a gun they sold (for a lot more than I was paying). I haven't tried them since.
