My first HK!

Hey,

Can I join ya'lls club? I just got my HK USP compact .40. I'll be using it as my CCW. I haven't fired it yet, but I've field stripped, cleaned and lubed it.

I used Hoppe's 9 for cleaning and remington rem oil to lube. What do you guys use? Any advice or things I need to know about the gun? It's a variant1 w/ night sights.

Get some Breakfree CLP. I use this to clean the whole slide. Use the Hoppes 9 for the barrel.

Use the new "Gunscrubber" product in white can for cleanig off gunk ( it's the only one labled synthetic/ polimer safe)
Then "Militec 1" for lube...follow the directions!
Both products the best you can get
Used it on my HK USP 45...NO Problems...ever
