I went shooting Sunday and after shooting about 60 or so rounds. I pulled the trigger and nothing happened, the trigger went to the rear no click and no firing. I had experienced a similar problem went my trigger bar spring broke(which Kahr sent me 3 or 4 more). I thought not again but when I took off the grips I found the spring to be intact but the tab a the top rear of the trigger spring was broken. I emailed Kahr and they said they will send me a new one if I want but I am not sure how difficult this is to replace. Help, has anyone doen this before.
I have had the gun about a year and put probably 2k rounds through it. I bought it second hand and it was manufactured around 95-96 serial number AD00XX. It looks like it has been shot quite a bit is the gun worn out or what. I thought I might trade it on a P9. What are your thoughts on this.

No one has any thought on this? Got an email from Kahr today they are offering to have it sent to the Factory for repairs. This is very good of them as this is a 10 plus year old gun I bought second hand, heck it may even be third hand by now. I plan to send it back. When I get it back should I dump the gun?

What model of Kahr do you have?

It is a K9 an older one made of blackened carbon steel instead of blackened stainless steel.

Didnt the older ones have a lifetime warranty? I have a 97 vintage E9 the broke a slide release right after I bought it second hand. They sent me a new one and a new recoil spring. Some time later I noticed that I was having to oil the surface of my slide a couple of times a week or it would start to rust. Called them and they replaced the slide under warranty.

I'm not sure what the warranty is but Kahr has offered to ship it back and do the repairs. I didn't ask about cost and they didn't mention it. I assume it was free maybe I should ask or better see if they bring it up.

I sent it off to Kahr, they will replace the trigger bar. It didn't sound like something i could do myself. I hope it doesn't take to long to get it fixed. They should have it tomorrow. Hopefully the turn around want be too long. Wish me luck. I will post when it returns.
