Im fairly new to the handguns and after purchasing my first gun for cc a H&K p2000sk I realized that carrying is all about size and weight. So I just purchased a PM9,and against some of the advice on this site I purchased a used one from my local dealer. I did however check the numbers on it and according to what is posted on a stickey on this site it was manufactured late in 06. My questions are this, is it common to see wear on the slide rails where you start the slide for reassembly? Is it common for the gun to feel a little tight when working the slide? Also has anyone had good luck with cs on any used products? And finally what are the things I need to look for or change on the gun to make me feel comfortable using this as my primary carry. Such as aftermarket parts, mags ect. Also has anyone ever looked into getting a replacement frame. Thank you and any advice welcome.

There is going to be some natural wear on the polymer frame where the slide creates a natural grove during the break in period so I wouldn't be worried about the frame showing some wear. Every polymer framed gun I have owned shows some wear.
I'm not sure what you mean by the gun feeling a little tight when working with the slide. The slide should move freely along the frame and should not bind or stick anywhere along the direction the slide travels. Kahrs are made to a very tight tolerance and the slide doesn't rattle around when in full battery like some guns do.
Make sure you clean the gun and lube it properly. There is a sticky on this website that shows you how.
I know the gun is used and already broken in most likely but I would shoot 200-400 rounds through it to get confidence in it before you carry it regularly.
As far as add ons go...Find a good holster. I really like the Kahr pocket holster that they sell for the PM9 on their website. I also like the Mitch Rossen Express IWB holster that Kahr sells on the website. You also can't go wrong with the Desantis Nemisis pocket holster. The Pierce grip extension really helps with me with my draw and adds some length to the gun to fit my big hands. The XS Big Dot night sights are also a great help. The big dot really helps to pick up the target quickly.
Good luck. I think you will find that the PM9 is one of the best CCW guns out there for its size, weight and caliber.

Great purchase :)
I love my PM9 and have it in my pocket almost everyday. Had some inital issues first 400rds but now its fine. Mine is at 800rds and still is tight. I have a A-grip on mine for comfort, but will try the innertube for my next grip cover. Follow the lube diagram and maybe use some jewelers polish and a dremel to give it a fluff and buff. Thats what aleviated my issues with FTE and stovepiping.
Mine eats all I can put threw her now. I carry it in a cheap uncle mikes size 2 pocket holster and can draw it just fine.
The PM9 is great for concealment, size, firepower in a great package. :2gun:
:agree: with FLGlock30
When I brought my new DLC PM9 home - the first thing I did was take it apart, clean it - then gave the barrel and feed ramp a polishing using Flitz. Had no problems at all.
