How does the trigger of the 4046/5946/etc. compare with the Sig DAK trigger? They are listed as DAO but are they a true DAO (heavy all the way) or are they pre-cocked for a somewhat lighter trigger pull?

There are a bunch of them on the internet market cheap and was wondering what the triggers are like. If they're a pre-cock I have no problem with them.

Thanks.

They are a precock setup.

Have a 1086 that is real slick.
But not as nice as my 229DAK.

It's a precock system, but a good bit heavier than the DAK. We just got a LE trade-in 4046 at the gun store, and it really doesn't interest me. A good DAK SIG, on the other hand...

I have a 5946, 4046, and 5943TSW as well as a P226DAK. My 5946 and 4046 are superior to my 226, but my 5943TSW is about even. You already know the S&W system utilizes a pre-cock, but the standard 3rd generation utilized more precock compared to the TSW guns. The trigger is much lighter and a good deal smoother on my 2 standard '46s.
