Anyone have any good paddle holster recommendations for my G23/27? Most important to me is something that rides pretty close to the body, so any ideas would be greatly appreciated?

Comp-Tac FBI Paddle. Holds close, good retention, very concealable. Get the 'slide' version and it will work equally well for your G23/G27 (mine do!).
Try the Kramer MSP,paddle, the finest holster of this type u casn buy, expensive, they were made for the mich. state police....well tested under combat conditions,it will last u a lifetime...

+1 on the Comp-Tac FBI paddle. I recently purchased one (the slide model) for my G20 and G29. Usual fast service from Comp-Tac, usual craftsmanship- great holster. Comfortable and easy to put on and take off.
I was surprised at how close it tucks to the body- closer than the Comp-Tac Settable Cant.
I now own a C-TAC, a Settable Cant, and a FBI Paddle from Comp-TAC.
Good people.

I have a love/hate relationship with my Comp-Tac cant paddle.
It's incredibly comfortable, holds pretty close for an OWB, and is easy on/off.
But it's not perfect. This happened to mine after about 14 months of wear:

Comp-tac shocked me with their poor service, actually. I sent it in, didn't hear from them for two weeks, and once I called them it took them two more days to find it, and they didn't call me, I called them. I thought I had a longer warranty, but they told me that past one year they couldn't do anything for me. I'm not complaining about it being out of warranty, but I wish they had let me know that I was out of luck sooner. As in, when I first emailed them about the problem before shipping it.
I swore after that I would never buy anything but leather again. After six months, I couldn't resist, and ordered another.
You'll love it. Just keep a spare holster of some sort, because this one is eventually going to break on you. If I didn't inspect my weapon and holster every night upon taking them off, I wouldn't have noticed this crack, and might have dropped half the holster with the gun inside in public.
If you do a lot of hard physical work, rolling around on the ground, etc, I would suggest you get a nice leather holster.

I've been using a Galco M5X Matrix (http://www.usgalco.com/HolsterG3.asp?ProductID=2925&GunID=49) holster. It's comfy and keeps my G23 close. I use it for open carry around the house and property, not sure I'd suggest it for concealment though.
It's seems to be already overwhelming but but get you a Comp-Tac FBI paddle and you will love it!!!!

I'm surprised. From my personal and anecdotal experience this is quite an aberration.

another vote for the Comp-tac FBI. I would suggest the slide as well because I love it for both my 23 and 27.
I'm wearing my G23 in the Blackhawk CQB paddle now and it's strong, light, and stays right where you put it. I've got the cute little OWB J-frame paddle for my BUG side too
Question: Do I "love" these Blackhawk CQB holsters the way I love my beloved Bianchi Carrylock?
No.
But I like them.:drillsgt:
