My New Pistol Gripped Dlask Arms Corp 8.5" barreled Rem 870

Here is a picture of my new pistol gripped Dlask Arms Corp 8.5" barreled Rem 870 12 gauge shotgun that has an overall length of 19".

It holds three 2 3/4" shells in the mag tube or two 3" shells and one in the chamber of course.

It also comes with a butt stock which results in an over all length of 29"... I also had Dlask install a rail on top of the reciever... :thumbsup:

I installed my only EER scope which is a Burris 1X and when I pop the scope off I install my XS Sights Back Up ghost ring sight that you can see mounted on the rail on the slide.

How is that rail on the foregrip on your hands?

When I had the chance to shoot a 12" Witness Protection model 870 I was told to hold the fore end firmly and to push out with my off hand. Seems like that rail would tear the crap out of your hands, and if you mount anything to it the damage would be worse.

How is that rail on the foregrip on your hands?

The rails are suprisingly easy to hold onto as you can see I have even added sand paper strips for added grip...

I actually added the light for fun, it works but... :faint:

In Canada the rule is normally the gun has to have an overall length of 26 1/2" where as this little shotgun is only 19" with the pistol grip installed.

Dlask has found a loop hole in the law that states this shotgun is legal to own and transport any where you can legally transport firearms. In other words it is as non-restricted as my 28" barreled duck gun.

Neat project none the less. What kind of patterns do you get at 5 and 10 yds?

If a load of buckshot is rated at, say, 1325fps or so out of a 24" barrel, what kind of velocity can it get in only 8.5"?

Sweeeeeet weapon. I really love the end caps also. Canada does not have the "SBR/SBS B.S." we have here in the U.S.
