View Full Version : Champion LW Operator Holster Options
Just got my Champion (4" bbl) LW Operator. Looking for some help/inputs with IWB holster options. Have had good luck with my Bianchi (Pro. model 100) and Don Hume (715) for my other carry guns, but not seeing 4" operator on the list for those holsters. Anyone out there with this gun that has found a size in either of those holsters that works for the 4" Operator? Other holster thoughts for this gun also welcome. Thanks.

I've tried them all, but my favorite for IWB (and some may call me crazy...) is a Milt Sparks Watch Six. I found it on Ebay for a steal! I like it better than the VM2. I dress around the 1911 when I carry it concealed, so no need to tuck. I've also used a Tucker "The Answer" on a few occasions for tuckable wear. I have about 8-10 holsters that I keep around, but these two are favorites. For casual wear around the house I like the Mernickle setup. Rides high and close to the body and you can get the entire set-up including a belt and mag pouch (which I use with the Milt Sparks as well) pretty cheap.

I have a holster on order from UBG for this gun right now.
I have the same gun, but I am carrying it OWB. I use a Galco FLETCH for 5" railed 1911s. Fits like a glove other than the extra 1" of unused space at the bottom.

I carry mine in a Galco MOB holster, it is for a plain 1911, but the operator fits into it like a glove.
