bringing it home Tommorow, and got to put it in something right?
I've had a Blade-Tech IWB, FBI cant w/straps for my G26 since 1997 and am quite happy with it.
Personally, I'm not a big fan of kydex holsters. I have a Fist IWB holster for my Glock 27 that I love. I'm a big fan of the reinforced leather holsters. If you didn't want to wait for the manufacture time for a Fist holster. I know High Noon Holster's Split Decision holster is in stock. It looks to be a very nice iwb as well.

I love my De Santis CHECKMATE belt holster......Easy out and easy to re-holster because it doesn't collapse.......Comes in brown or black cowhide.....
You use your thumb to unlock it with a very natural move that puts your hand in just the right position to grip the weapon....
I have Crimson Trace Laser grips on my Model 27 and the weapon fits fine.......
I've never been a fan of IWB holsters.......

I carry mine every day in a Comp-tac Infidel. Easy on and off. Hides well. I use the same holster for my G26, G19 and G36. I have been using it a lot more than my VMII for my G26.
I have used a C-TAC for both a 26 & 27. Works great!

I carry my G27/G26 in a DeSantis Cozy Partner, great craftsmanship and cheap price.
I just got my MTAC for my 26 on 8/28/07. I'm still evaluating it, but just after I put it on and wore it around for about an hour, I cancelled an order for a holster that was still several weeks from being produced from a maker I really like. Mine is a slide and is ugly as sin but the big leather backing is the most comfortable IWB I've ever tried. In IWBs I have Blade-Tech, Kramer, Milt Sparks VMII, High Noon, Blackhawk CQC and Don Hume and this beats them all for longtime comfort and concealability. I always wear my shirts out as my heavy belts are brown and the black clips show. Even under a T-shirt my 26 disappears. I think it is going to be a keeper. - 'ole joe :)

The Milt Sparks doesn't give you any layer of protection between the slide and your skin like the MTAC does.
It is very comfortable to me because it gives leather protection between the slide and part of the frame vs your skin, not all of the grip though

I thought the VM2 was just straight across on the top. Can you post a picture of it from both sides? If it does come up and offer some protection from the slide, I may put in my order to add to my holster collection. :)
Thanks
Check out the link I posted a few posts above for pics with a glock in it

Checked. She just sold the last one, black, right-handed, for a G36. :( But, she thinks they should have more around October, so she put me on the list. That would still be sooner than if I ordered directly.

WHAT PART OD IWB DIDN'T YOU UNDERSTAND?

OR HUMAN ERROR? THAT IS YOUR BEST CHOICE.

I have tried the shirt tucker once w/ a T-shirt and it seemed to work OK. I've never had a shirt-tucker before so I don't know how deep 'deep' is. I don't plan on using the 'tuck capability'. On Comp-Tac's website they have the MTAC tucked and you can probably get a better idea there. - 'ole joe :)

I love my old Sidearmor 3rd generation IWB holster. I wear it every day.....it's as good as the day I bought it. Wonderful customer service. Great people, too.
Here's another vote for the MTAC. I love mine!

Next time you buy a pair of shoes, save the box. You will soon have the box o' holsters.
The problem of asking what's the "best" IWB holster is kinda like asking who's your favorite football team - everyone is going to have an opinion. What works for them may not work for you.
The best holster for YOU depends on body size/shape and concealment considerations (do you wear a suit versus untucked shirt).
In any case, having folks chime in helps you consider your options.
The first holster I bought for my G26 was a Don Hume 715 - works very well.
That being said, I also have the C-TAC which is great even if it does pinch the spare tire from time to time, but the MTAC I have on order should remedy that issue (so would losing 30lbs).
Needless to say, I am still in search of the "best" IWB holster, so my box o' holsters has grown beyond one shoebox. :)
Good luck with the new G26 and your holster search!

Happy seal...if the MTAC is a true "Answer" knockoff you'll get about 3" of tuck...that's what I get with my Answer for a Colt Delta and from the pics it looks about the same.
If you need a deep tuck and want to avoid breakable plastic belt clips try the Aker Businessman holster.
I carry a G29 in it every day all day and it's worth every penny...if I need to tuck a shirt it will tuck 5".
The advantage for me is it has a leather/snap belt clip. Plastic and kydex belt clips break, usually when I'm out of town and don't have a spare...
You can check them out here...

As soon as I get the retention adjusted right (if you own one, you know what it takes to adjust one of these holsters:steamed: ), I definitely recommend the CrossBreed SuperTuck Deluxe. The huge flap of leather that is backing for the holster and mounting clips makes it very comfy against bare skin.

I'm partial to my CTAC and VM2 but wanting to try the MTAC now.

I carry my 26 in a Alessi Watch-Six w/talon clips. The clips being positioned on the ends gives you stability. The problem with short barreled guns is that they will feel like they want to squirt out of your waistband. You need a holster that sits a little deeper and with more stability. The Watch-Six is what you need....
Don't make the same mistake as me and try several different holsters and guns only to discover the real key to comfortable carry is a quality belt.
There are many good makers. I have been very satisfied with THE BELTMAN (http://www.thebeltman.net/).
Here is one of his belts that I ordered with a velcro backing. The holster is a Comp-Tac. Very tuckable and almost invisible with the velcro clips. Yes I know that is not a baby Glock but you get the idea.

Sidearmor! I used to carry at the 4'oclock position, but the sidearmor loops broke again. I had some other holster parts and now I carry Appendix IWB.

There seems to be a lot of differnet opinions on here. What do you guys think of the Galco, Ultra Deep Cover Holster vs the MTAC.
I am going to order one this week. I have a Bianchi Model 100 that I use when I can have a shirt over the the glock 27 and love that. However I need something for the rest of the time when I am working, which requires me to wear either a button down or polo shirt tucked in.
Which hoslter would you recommend and why? also which position, Appendix or the 4 o'clock. I am in and out of the car alot, and in and out of meetings all day.
Thanks for the help. Glock On
