View Full Version : do you carry your longslide?
if so what do you use. I would love to retire my 23 for a while and carry my 35. it is by far one of the best handguns I've ever shot.

A few days ago I took a 160-mile road trip up north for the afternoon and evening. Instead of my G23, I thought I would take my G35 for once. Although the temp was about 104 degrees, it concealed just fine in a FBI-canted BladeTech IWB holster sitting at the 4 o'clock position on my Wilderness belt. A dark grey T-shirt covered my rig.

I have a IWB for my 17L that accepts the weapon light also, I will carry it in the winter.

Who makes it? Pics? Will it work for a G34 with a TLR-1?
Thanks.

I have and do carry my G24. Especially in the winter time. IWB at 11 O'Clock with a rafters sharkskin holster. Otherwise, it's always my G24. I find both very comfortable. The G24 is the same comfort walking around but sitting down, you have to be careful with the 24. But it's far from bad.

I carry my G35 in a C-Tac. I've hauled this gun for two years with no problems. Sadly for the G35 I'll start carrying my new G19 in a week or so when my order of DoubleTap comes in. The G19 actually shoots more accurately in slow fire than my G35 and followup shots will be quicker too.

I have a Comp-Tac Gurka Slide that I use with my G35. I remember being out shopping with my wife and she wanted me take off my sweatshirt to try on a garment. Had to tell her twice I wasn’t taking my sweatshirt off before it clicked with her, so I guess it was pretty well hidden.
G34 Bladetech IWB (butchered the snaps, and the holster to allow full grip on gun)
Or fanny pack, although replaced mostly with G21SF
Have yet to find a decent holster.

My G35 is in the rotation with the other three Glocks. Stopped carrying it three weeks ago, ( oldest G23 is now picking up the mission ). When I carry the G35 it rides in a Comp-Tac Pro Undercover.
Best,
Dave
