Previously I carried a Kel-Tec P11 that I could not hit the broad side of a barn with. I still own it but after putting one mag down range with the G36 and hitting my mark every time I have to say I will never leave Glock again.
I bought used, with around 500 rounds through but you could hardly tell it has been fired. I tried it out, shot six rounds down range and decided there was no turning back. I love the .45acp round and never thought I would be able to shoot one much else carry it because most .45acp guns do not fit in my hands. I have to say, it conceals very easy and it was hard to tell that I had it on my hip walking through stores and in my vehicle.
I have previously owned a Glock and know their quality and reliability which is why I wanted another. My problem was with the girth of the gun and my ability to function the weapon with one hand comfortably. The Glock 22 that I owned to me had significantly more recoil than this Glock 36, maybe because it fits my hands better or that the .40s&w has more muzzle flip, either way of all my guns to me the recoil was very similar to my Walther P22 (.22LR) with stinger rounds believe it or not. I feel that anyone capable of shooting a firearm would be able to handle this weapon with ease the only downside is that if you have larger hands I would assume it to be a pain to shoot.
I must say that with the Kel-Tec P11 recoil is a lot snappier than that of the Glock 36, in fact when I shoot my P11 I always get a blood blister or pinch of some type on my hands.
Overall, there is no turning back. I will never carry less than a .45acp now thanks to this gun. I can conceal this under a t-shirt and jeans very well, and if it were to print it looks more like a cell phone anyway so who cares.
