Just had Mepro's installed on my G27 and was wondering if there on right. The gunsmith who did the installation assured me it was all good, however I noticed a slight gap between the bottom of the rear sight and the slide. Not to much, but enough that if you hold it up to the light you notice it. What really holds the rear sights in? Are they just slipped in or are they supposed to be attached to the slide. I hadnt noticed this gap on any other of my Glocks and was wondering.

:headscratch: Now, I'm trying to visualize this; and, I may be wrong; but, are you saying that when you look down the slide you see a small gap underneath the bottom of the rear sight?
It may be for the correct caliber but a different model (standard sized) pistol? I haven't got time to look any of this up right now; but, I can come back to this thread later.

cant get to the numbers on the side right now since I'm not home, but yeah theres a small gap just under the sight thats only noticable if you hold the pistol up to the light. The Mepro package stated for Glocks, 9mm and .40

Sorry for that should of been a tad clearer. If you hold the pistol up to the light from the side, thats when you see the slight gap, not from the rear. By outward appearances they look fine, but if you get close you notice the gap.

I have a G26 with Mepros - when looking at the pistol from the side towards a light, I can see a very slight gap under the rear site. It's literally so thin I think you'd have trouble getting a piece of paper in there.
As long as it's accurate and secure, I wouldn't worry about it.
