This is new, bought by the Chinese from Russia. How does this compare with the US CH 47 in size, power and reliability?

Its cargo bay is equivalent in volume to the C-130 Hercules. The CH-47? No match.:) The Indian Air Force also flies them.

Besides, there have been no reports of crashes from the military and civil operators of the Mi-26, but several for the US Army and the Royal Air Force. One even went down off Apo Island.
