View Full Version : G36 new or a Glock rebuild......
well in order to belong to the "slim" crowd one should own one.....here is my choices.....buy a NIB G36 for 490.00 or buy a factory rebuild from Mark@Summit Guns for 440.00. Both are priced with shipping but the only difference is the rebuild has nightsights. The only other expense will be for the FFL transfer fee (15.00)..............help, which one should I buy...:brickwall:

where did you find one for $490???
I can't find any for under $550 around here.
I got one of the rebuilds from Mark last year. Perfect functioning, no problems, smooth transaction. Completely satisfied at a lower cost. Only difference was one less magazine than they are currently offering for NIBs.
It is open to debate about whether these are factory demos, ie, salesmen's guns or actually problem guns that have been repaired. Either way, I figure they go through QC twice.

I just ordered one of the Used G36 From Mark and Summit. Mine came with night sights and you could hardly tell it was used. The only place was the barrel. I would get the night sites one. They are glock factory night sites. +1 for Mark

Seriously! I wanna know also!
Way I see it...you can't go wrong either way...I got mine used and it has functioned nearly perfect. Had to replace the slide stop lever. Been perfect ever since.
Get the used one. I purchased mine from a member of this board for $395. It had two mags through it. It's been a great gun and is on my CCW.

you are probably right..........the new one that is available is 'old stock'..........the serial number indicates a 2001 build date.....
