I have a rem. 870 20 gauge youth model that i don't use much and wanted to know if anybody has ever made a hd shotgun out of one and could show pics and give some advice.

Well, if the barrel is reasonably short, just add some decent sights that are visible in low light. Maybe a tritium bead or some ghost ring night sights. Then get some #2 buckshot loads or some Buckhammer slugs, and you will have about the IDEAL home-defense shotgun.

On the other hand, if you are talking about turning it into a tacti-cool Mall Ninja zombie-killing shotgun for shooting at the local gravel pit on Saturday afternoon, then I can't help you. I don't know that they make those kinds of accessories for 20 gauge guns...

knoxx makes a m4gery stock for one but i cant find a foreend

Vang Comp builds a nice little 20gauge gun. Last I heard, they were tooling up to build +2 extensions for them, as well as a few other goodies.

I would stick with the factory stock as opposed to a Knoxx, or anything else. The fore end can be cut to suit.
