Does a ported barrel in a G34 make any difference when shooting minor loads? I'm using 125gr 38 super Zero bullets and 3.8gr Titegroup.

It makes very little difference to me.

In my G34 it does. I have a LWD 6 port barrel. I shoot crappy wwb and I can definitly tell the difference compared to stock. I can stay on target better for the next quick shot.

I felt little difference if any between my G17L and my factory ported G17L using 147-gr ammo with a PF of 130. There's just not enough power to work the ports to any advantage.
