Gherry (PPSA 070610) was among the group of 12 new members inducted during the 21st BRPG Induction Ceremonies last September 7, 2007 at Hotel PonteFino in Batangas City.
A Mechanical Engineer by profession, he was the Plant Manager of Komyo Philippine Logistic Service Corporation, a subsidiary and maker of Honda mortorcycles in the Philippines. He had the distinction of being the youngest Plant Manager in Honda group and was even featured in CNN a couple of years ago for his feat.
A true sportsman, he was into Jetski racing competing as a newbie in races in different waters in the Philippines. He was into Superbikes Series as well. Gherry was even a podium finisher in a race at the Batangas Racing Circuit the day before he was slain. Under his group Batangas Tire Burners and PKP Paranaque, he had been consistently winning races recently and was being considered as the fast rising star in the Novice class of the Superbikes series.

Several months back, he was the rider featured in Unang Hirit wherein he raced his Yamaha R1 bike against a flying aircraft.
Another interest that he usually took time to do to relax was scuba diving with his Batangueño buddies.
Had he lived a little longer, there was no doubt that he was going to make it big in practical shooting too for he had this passion in anything he put his heart into. A great loss indeed.
