Is it OK to keep a G36(or any Glock for that matter) with a full mag and chambered for an extended period of time. I seem to remember reading that when storing and empty Glock the trigger should be in the rear position(something about a spring. Thanks

I don't see why not, as long as it's safely stored. I keep mine fully loaded, so I can pop in it a holster and out the door.

All my carry guns are chambered with a round and mags fully loaded. I kept my guns this way for many years and have had no problems. The funny thing is that I keep all the loaded guns in their hosters and just grab the gun/holster I want to carry each day. The only ones I don't carry are my "c" models, G34 and G21. An unloaded gun is as useful as a piece of brick!
