Here are some pictures of the fist round that was in a frequently removed and re-loaded magazine. It' is a Winchester 185 Gr Silvertip HP .45. Anybody care to guess wether or not a disaster would have occured had I been stupid enough to try to fire this one? By the way it aint gonna to be sent down the range unless I throw it. In this picture the flash highlights the flat spot.

This one hopefully shows the flat spot better.

Last one I promise. A head on view. The bad spot is at the top of the picture. If these work it'll be great.

I believe you. I guess that shows that it's a good idea to examine your ammo once in a while.

It would not have been a disaster. It might have been unable to seal the barrel well enough to be expelled. The disaster would have come in the round following when you fired into a plugged barrel.

Sorry about the mails;f . Probably had just got done workin in the yard. Hey gotta go. ;c
I would bet the round would fire fine. Maybe lose a little velocity, but still be deadly.
Is that from racking the slide over and over again to rechamber it?

Nah Mikie that was from unloading and reloading the clip every time I picked up the gun and was making sure it was not chambered. I am worried about rechambering because I don't know what kind of effect that will have on the round. Laters;c
