Does anyone have any experience with the Advantage Arms 22LR conversion kit for Glock pistols? If you have one, are you satisfied? For $250, it seems it would be more effective to just buy a whole 22LR pistol

Just wondering & thanks.

I've had great success with mine. It has been a good way to introduce new shooters to Glocks and my kids really enjoy shooting it. Not a bad practice aid either.

I've had one on my G17 and a G21 without any issues. Good training aid.

I bought one and love it! It works great with good ammo, and its fun to shoot. one thing i really like is you can shoot all day for about $22.00 for 1100 rounds. I use mine with my U/L set up sometimes and it just rocks!!!

Thanks, all. Looks like the mags are limited to 10 Rnds. Does anyone know of larger cap magazines for the AA conversion kit?

We have beaten the holy terror out of one on our G19s, and AA even sent us free replacement recoil springs (after we put something like 50K rounds thru it, it got a littly laggy and was starting to leave the breech open, no matter how clean and well oiled it was). I also had to clean out the chamber a touch with a gentle dremel a few times as it started to get beaten up. It's *still* eating rounds, tho, on the second spring and many 550 round boxes of Remington Golden Bullets later.

We just use the 10 round mags, no idea on higher capacity mags; I've not seen any.

While I like my conversion and use it regularly, there is one drawback. Mine does not fit in my kydex holsters. The slide is slightly wider than a standard Glock. Maybe others have had better luck.
