Rumor was true. Tubberville used to be a defensive coordinator for A&M. Auburn stated in a press conference they would offer Tubberville a "package" he can't refuse to stay with Auburn. They would be stupid not to. He record in the past 4 years is 40-8.

Since he and Saban have the same agent (according to local reporting), what would you like to bet that his new compensation will be in the same range (+$4 million/year) as Nick's?

Or will it be higher since he has a proven win record?

If Arkansas can come up with about 3.5 million a year he would probably go, but I wouldnt worry about that happening if I were an Auburn fan.
