I went to a newly opened Gander Mountain today to have a look around. They had an H&K P7M8 listed for 1699.00 in the display case. I checked to make sure it wasn't a P7M13 and I was right it was a P7M8.:freak:

Yea TL

The numbers have been going up..But . They can be found well under 1699.

There is a Jubilee P7M8 on GunBroker - Buy It Now is 3289 I suspect it will be avil for awhile,

Now if you find a Blue P7M10 (40 S&W) at that price scoop it up... :)

Hope you make it to Silver Creek Match Saturday....

I'll be shooting the German Staple Gun :)

I appreciate your response. That is too much money for almost any gun. I shoot my guns. I dont have enough money to collect them.

I was greatly disappointed with Gander Mountain’s pricing.

The used Glocks are priced as if they are new. The new Glocks are around $100.00 - $150.00 over priced.

Their claim of a gun club membership is a farce. It consists of being on a mailing list to receive coupons from Gander Mountain.

They also offer a cleaning, who needs that?

I do give them credit on the pricing of their two high end pistols, one being the Desert Eagle and the other being the HK .45cal. Mark 23. Both are at lest in the ball park. I did not have enough information to properly qualify the pricing.

They had a Taurus 22lr pistol used for $450.00 a few days ago; this gun is only MSRP around $250.00. It is worth maybe $150.00 used. And you can find it from $175.00 - $200.00 new.

Gander Mountain really needs to review this market if they are to be competitive.

I also don’t think they have any selection of accessories.

You’re really better off going to Strictly Shooting, Guns Unlimited or RaJoes.

The employees at Gander Mountain are not much better than a Wal-Mart employee.

Their selection sucks, their employee's suck, their price's suck.

I can't believe what they did to their prices. You don't pay more you get more slogan. Bull!!!

I have to admit though, the traffic I see go through there hasn't slowed. Haven't seen any numbers, but I bet they are still up there.

There are a lot of people out there tranced to shiney things and will plop the money down not knowing the true value of what they are getting.

Gander Mountain is way too high.

Hell, I paid $779 for my Five Seven. It was 1199 at Gander, then they bounced it up to $1399!!!

Now it's $1199 again - but that is still way too much!

Do they not understand how crazy those prices are?

Gander is a dig-deeply and come early for a steal of a deal. their pricing since mid 2007 have been astronomical. They seem to have intentionally blocked all regular gun buyers from coming to their store.

However, I have found a mint 642 for $250, blued BHP mint for $550, Colt XS for $600, and a splendid Colt CCO for $700.

I remember I used to buy a great deal every other week from around 2003-2006. Gander is now my last ditch store for new guns.

From time to time, their clearance of new guns can be good. I saw some Browning HiPower silver frames in 40 for $599. That is hard to beat for a new Browning.
