Hi,

I'm a new member, and thought I would introduce myself.

My name is Steve, and I'm a Glockaholic! ;f

I just sold my Glock 19 to put a Glock 32 on order. One thing I'm curious about is that the recoil spring weights are the same for both calibers?

So I would like to poll the members with a G32; how many of you stay with the standard Glock recoil system in this piece?
If you have changed it out, what weight spring are you using?

Any other issues to be aware of with this model?

thanks for the feedback!

Steve

Hey steve - welcome!

Although I resist changes in defensive guns, I did make a few to my G32.
It has a steel Wolff recoil rod, and a 22# Wolff spring.
It has been very reliable.
This is not necessary to do, of course.

FWIW, I also have a smooth trigger face, night sights and an AGrip.

The smooth trigger face IS something I recommend.
The serrated "target" trigger face which comes with the gun helps get it needed import points (so we can buy them).
But those are murder on the trigger finger with a smart-recoiling gun like the G32.
If you order a trigger assy (trigger + trigger bar) for a G22, G31, etc, it will fit correctly, and feel a lot better.

Then you can think about polishing various parts.
Again not necessary, but you can get a smoother trigger pull.
I suggest a search - this is common to all Glocks.
But then, you probably know all that - well, it may interest other folks.

I belive that recoil springs are the same for G23 and G32 (.40 S&W -.357 SIG) and differ from G 19 (9 mm Luger).
