View Full Version : Visiting OH with FL CCW - where can I read laws?
I'm heading to Dayton for a wedding, and just realized I can't find a FAQ sheet on what's allowed/illegal on the Ohio AG's website http://www.ag.state.oh.us/le/prevention/concealcarry/index.asp . I've tried most of the links with no luck.
Can anyone point me to an official resource?
MUST notify if stopped by LEO.
When traveling in vehicle, gun must be in holster on person, in locked glove box, or in a case with a latch/zipper/etc. in plain sight (plastic bags technically work), or in locked container not in plain sight.
Cannot carry anywhere where it's posted, college campuses, school zones, day care centers, places of worship, federal/state buildings, and a few others...You can't CCW into rest stops along the highway but you can OC there.
OC's legal and we have state-wide preemption.
especially the link for 2923.12 Carrying concealed weapons.
is where you can read the laws.
Above poster sums it up pretty well. Will add no carrying in places that serve alcohol.
