There's a gentleman listing a new-in-the-box 30 for $550 in the Firearms Listings section. His moniker is dcmorris71, and I believe he's in the Houston, TX area. Sounds like a great deal.

I paid $509, + taxes at Bernie's in Lilburn, GA. Price of a new G30 shouldn't be much more than $500.

Try discountguns (in WA) also. They are $509. Phone is 253-874-5648.
Just ordered one myself as they seem to be getting scarce.

Got mine at Bernie's too. I paid $525 because I had to have it shipped down to me. Still beat my local shop by $50.
I recently bought a G29 from D&R Sports (http://www.dnrsports.net) for $540, with Trijicons. It was priced at $470 w/plain sights, so I'd imagine the 30 would be the same price. I dealt with Mark Komoroski ( mkomoroski@aol.com ).
Sadly, it would have been $650 - 700, locally.
I paid $609 with factory night sights, would have been $560 without them. .45 caliber Glocks cost more in SoCal, although I am not sure why. The rest of them can be had for about $500 with standard sights.

When I bought my 30 back in '98 or '99 in L.A it was $563 after tax. Around here in Texas they rarely run more than $550.

A guy I know here in TX who does a lot of outofstate biz could do much better. His name is Jason Harper of Harper's Ferry Arms, his number is:
254-793-8122
He has virtually no overhead so prices are very low. I bought my SAR-1 from him and it was $385. Most everyone else wanted $450.

I ran into an unlicened dealer that had a NIB G30 at a gun show in June of 2000. I had a Norinco 1911 that I had shot a lot. I got the G30 for my Norinco and $225. I figure that I got about $300 for the Chinese clone. I have never regretted the trade. My Glock .45 is a keeper for sure.

If any of you are in the Houston area during the larger gun shows (the HGDA show is June 1st and 2nd this year), Irving Firearms out of Dallas sells the 30 for a shade under $500. Last June I paid $489 for mine at the Pasadena show; they're probably up ten bucks or so, but these guys have the best prices I've found anywhere on Glocks, and they generally have a huge bin of them.
