Who's heading out to PASA for Factory gun Nationals this July? My family will be staying in Quincy.
I wish you, your brother and your dad the best of luck at the Nationals.:) Show them what your G34 can do.
I will be there shooting production.

No low-cap nationals for me, decided to go to Handgunner instead. I will be at the Hi-cap and IDPA Nationals.

I'll be there shooting my 34 in Production. Don't have reservations yet but will probably stay in Hannibal. It's a bit closer and easy to get to the range from there. The only problem with Hannibal is that it is such a dive for things to do in the evening.

Waitaminute, you shun the "low cap" Nats, but plan on shooting the IDPA Nats, where everything is "low cap"?

My decision not to go to LowCap nationals was not based on a capacity.
It came down to format, travel and weather. I can and do shoot IPSC matches all the time but Handgunner is once a year. Colorado is a lot closer to AZ than Barry. And finally and a big consideration the weather in Barry in the middle of summer is gonna suck.

Nope, Bend is too far for me, and I can't shoot stock guns in competition for crap.

The Race Gun Nationals are in Bend, Oregon. I think these folks are talking about the Factory Gun Nationals.

I can't shoot stock guns in competition worth a crap. Tha's ahy I am not going to Factory either. I start thinking tactical when down to ten rounds, and when shooting competition, I tend to like 20 rounds in the gun at the start.

I am going to Nationals and will be shooting a G35 in Limited 10. I would like to meet as many of you guys as possible. And in case I don't see any of you there, good luck to all of you.

Thank you.
I remember them calling out Chris's name. He edged out a guy in our squad, who got 9th overall in Production. I saw a lot of good shooters there, including another guy in our squad who shot Revolver. He almost got Miculek in the shootoff. They were both amazing.;P
Thanks Flexmoney. Sorry you couldn't make it. Maybe next time.
Congratulations Chris. What the people didn't know was that Chris was out of action for almost 3 months from April to June due to a major surgery. The man did not get enough practice like the rest of the competitors.
You tell'em Ricky T. Actually, and obviously, I didn't get to shoot any at all for a couple of months, but I was as ready for this nationals as any match I've ever shot. I just practiced more frequently and intensely after the recovery from surgery. Might have even worked out better that way. Regardless, I was pleased with how I shot for the most part. But like usual, I still think about the possible top five outcome were it not for that one noshoot, the missed popper here, the bobbled reload there. Anybody ever shot a match they were completely happy with? Wish I could.

I actually had a match I was completely happy with. It was Area 4 2002. I shot my G35 in Limited and won C class. I never had a bad stage and walked away knowing I couldn't have shot it better. Heck, 40th place wasn't bad either with my combat tupperware.
Nationals was a different story though, I had a lot of good stages but the one that stands out the most was stage 18. After I got to the last doorway to shoot through it, I dropped 2 mags on the ground and had to pick one up to finish. EMBARRASSING I betcha I had the fastest reload from the ground that match though.
