Check or Money Order?

Hey guys, family member just completed her CWP packet. The ony thing that must be done now is send in the $75 license fee (along with the packet) to the FL Dept. Agriculture. I had her do electronic prints, so it would come faster (hopefully). My question is, is sending a MO over a personal check quicker? vice versa? Or is it the same? I know, but, with the personal check you can see when it was cashesd, but i dont know if this will take longer for the check to clear? Thanks in advance for the help!

I got a money order from a local FL walmart and they took that just fine.

It should make no difference. A money order is certified funds, so it should clear faster. 2 days with a check and 1 with a money order. Of course money orders cost more.

Some banks will do a money order for you for free if you have an account with them. Some places like Publix will do a money order for less than a dollar.

I don't know if you have an Amscot check cashing place nearby, but their money orders are FREE.

I sent a personal check. I would think either way is fine since they're both gonna clear way before you're finger prints
